Reconstruction of the hemi-mandibular region using a custom mandibular Implant in a patient who had previously undergone conventional treatment (iliac crest graft with reconstruction plate). In this patient, first, using a surgical guide, a three-part osteotomy was performed to correct the jaw arch, then complete symmetry was achieved using a custom Implant.
This patient had previously undergone mandibular reconstruction using an iliac crest graft with a reconstruction plate, which resulted in jaw deviation and asymmetry.
To correct this deviation, the patient's jaw was first scanned and modeled, and a surgical guide was fabricated for a three-part osteotomy to correct the jaw arch.
